Beauty of Lalesa auction:

An area producing Ethiopia’s finest coffee. Our site in Lalesa has over four hundred drying beds.This auction has our finest lots. These micro-lots represent the hard work and passion of the hundreds of small holder farmers and our dedicated team. The diverse flavours present was the result of hours of careful cultivation and management.

The coffee is dedicated to the Gedeo people. Their longstanding cultural tradition of agroforestry sustains the livelihoods of a quarter of a million people, in an environmentally sustainable way.This serves as an inspiration for us every day.

Lots Selection:

This year’s coffee includes lots processed with three primary processing methods. Each processing method ensures that the auction has a diverse set of wonderful flavours. Within each processing method, each lot was carefully managed by our dedicated team. Firstly, individual farmers were selected who have a track record of producing our best lots. After their coffee arrived at our site, only the best cherry was selected, and this coffee was set with a dedicated manager carefully overseeing the process
