The CT62 exterior of the dripper is inspired by the "Shan Wen armor" from the Tang
Dynasty in China. It represents a crystallization of ancient craftsmanship combined
with a contemporary geometric form. The design is aesthetically pleasing, featuring a full- overage curved surface and facets. It possesses a sense of perspective and three-dimensionality, with geometric dependencies that can extend infinitely. This design is an original concept from medieval China, directly transforming from a flat surface to a three-dimensional form. In this iteration, we have extracted the "Shan Wen armor" and incorporated it into the dripper, giving the contemporary "CT62" a visual language rooted in ancient wisdom. The interior of the dripper features an original cylindrical design. After repeated experiments, it has achieved the optimal uniform extraction flow rate, preventing clogging and avoiding the bitterness, astringency, and sourness caused by over- extraction, thereby preserving the aroma and taste of the coffee. The dripper is designed with a 62-degree conical shape, allowing the filter paper to fit snugly against the cup and ensuring consistent extraction. With a matte glaze applied, the thinner glazed off-white edges make the dripper appear three-dimensional. The dripper is tilted during firing, creating a graceful gradient effect that transitions distinctly from thin to thick from top to bottom, resembling a layer of light snow gently covering mountain peaks. Combining the exterior texture of the dripper with the V62 angle of the interior, the dripper is aptly named "CT 62."
