I Randomly ran into this farm's booth at the Hotelex Shanghai 2026 in between gaps of scheduled cupping event. I was walking by and saw this Dere 132 Variety which I have never try and the cup is ready, then spoon in and sip a bit. It was very unique that drag my attention instantly. Really rounded sweetness and silky texture is the most impressive impression to me.

About Farm:

Coffee Artisans Deep in the Mists
Deep in the mists of Pu'er, Yunnan, coffee seeds crossed the mountains alongside horse caravans over a century ago, taking root in a land shared by the Dai, Lahu, and Wa ethnic groups.
Mr. Yan, owner of the Redfruit Coffee Estate in Fuyan Village, is a third-generation coffee farmer. He recalls his grandfather harvesting in the morning mist, selecting only the plumpest, completely red cherries: "Only the fully reddened cherries harbor the soul of the mountain."
This obsession shapes the estate's craftsmanship. Mr. Yan trains farmers to hand-pick crops strictly by maturity. He manages premium varieties like Typica and Yellow Bourbon alongside disease-resistant Catimor. By using coffee husk compost, biological pest control, and solar drying racks, the estate maintains soil health and delivers on its green commitment to zero waste.
Equally moving is his "Field School." Mr. Yan invites professional roasters and Q-Graders to teach Lahu youth cupping and grading. This shifts the farmers' mindset from "planting for yield" to "planting for flavor." As children sing harvesting songs and Typica beans ferment anaerobically for 312 hours, Mr. Yan knows this single seedling has grown into a fragrant bond connecting Yunnan with the world.
