rock 'n' dew Coffee Glass Server

rock 'n' dew Coffee Glass ServerPowerful Aroma & Flavor Amplifier

The "rock 'n' dew" coffee glass server is more than just a vessel; it's a powerful tool designed to amplify the aroma and flavor of your coffee.

"rock 'n' dew," the brainchild of Mr. Jeff Da-Yu Shi, a tea utensil expert who transitioned to coffee, draws inspiration from Taiwanese tea culture. In tea ceremonies, a slender porcelain cup containing tea is inverted over a teacup, allowing the tea to transfer while preserving the aroma in the aroma cup. This ritual of "smelling before tasting" is equally relevant to coffee, and the "rock 'n' dew" glass server enhances the aroma aspect of coffee tasting.

Conceived in late 2022, the "rock 'n' dew" underwent nearly two and a half years of rigorous design and development, ensuring its ability to preserve and present the nuanced flavors and aromas of hand-dripped coffee.

Crafted from food-grade, high-transparency borosilicate glass, the "rock 'n' dew" glass server preserves the coffee's aroma and flavor without contamination. It comes with five accessories, including a "side handle glass server," a "lid with slits," a "dripper holder," each equipped with a silicone ring, a 200ml placement cup serves as an accessory stand, for effortless brewing.

The "rock 'n' dew" glass server is compatible with most coffee drippers on the market and is designed for closed-lid brewing. As the steaming coffee flows through the slits on the lid and cascades down the glass server in spirals, it resembles water flowing down a curved slide, spreading out like spring water trickling over rocks. "This unique design, by maximizing the contact between the coffee liquid and the inner surface of the glass, allows for a more expansive release of aromatic compounds. "The closed-lid brewing method allows the aroma and flavor to remain enclosed within the glass server, creating a symphony of scent. Once the lid is opened, the moist aroma rushes into the nose, as if the energy cultivated throughout the coffee bean's growth bursts forth at that moment. This sets the stage for the tasting experience, allowing different layers of flavor to be clearly presented as the coffee enters the mouth.

The glass server's handle is designed in a reclining "V" shape, with the angle between the handle and the spout nearly a right angle. This ergonomic design allows for easy gripping, moving, shaking, and pouring while remaining completely heat-insulated. A simple shake mixes the coffee evenly, thanks to the four baffles at the bottom of the glass server.

The "rock 'n' dew" glass server serves as an amplifier for the aroma and flavor of hand-dripped coffee, elevating the ritual of "aroma appreciation" before drinking. It's a testament to the art of coffee brewing, inviting you to savor every nuance of your cup 2

Complete Accessories for Effortless Brewing

This coffee glass server comes with five accessories in addition to the glass server itself. Besides the main accessory that achieves "flavor amplification," a 200ml placement cup serves as an accessory stand.

Sealed-in Flavor: The Art of Closed-Lid Brewing

This innovative coffee glass server's design features closed-lid brewing to fully preserve the coffee's aroma and flavor during extraction. Keeping the lid closed locks in the volatile aromatic compounds, resulting in a richer, more nuanced cup. Upon opening, the fragrant steam bursts forth, unveiling the complex layers of flavor.

Ergonomic Design for Effortless Brewing

The glass server's handle is ergonomically designed for a secure and comfortable grip, even while hot. Its shape and size facilitate easy handling—gripping, moving, shaking, and pouring—making the brewing process smooth and effortless. A strategically placed bottom baffle works with the handle, allowing for gentle shaking that thoroughly mixes the coffee, releasing its fragrant aromatic compounds.

Water Wave Texture: Form and Function in Harmony

The glass server's wavy inner wall, designed to resemble a spiraling slide, enhances the brewing process. Steaming coffee flows through the lid's slits, cascading down the inner wall. This unique design allows the coffee to gently spiral and spread, mimicking the natural flow of spring water over rocks.
